A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS
No. MagicPhone uses Android’s Accessibility APIs on an ordinary Android 11 or newer phone. Enable access yourself in Android settings. You don’t need ADB or a connected computer for everyday use.
MagicPhone includes Continue with ChatGPT for eligible accounts. Model availability and usage limits depend on your account and provider. Separate API-key and compatible-provider profiles are also supported.
Cloud models receive selected task history and permitted screen context. Local or self-hosted compatible providers can be configured separately. The included practice mode makes no model requests. Android voice input may use your speech provider’s servers.
App layouts, Accessibility support and Android restrictions vary. MagicPhone is an early project and cannot guarantee every task. Secure screens and system permissions may need manual input. You can see the current coverage and limitations in the feature matrix.
